Executive Assistant to the Director
Our School trains Christians and then deploys our students to influence different areas of society - business, arts, churches etc. helping to bring Heaven to Earth and win Australia for Jesus.
As our lectures are online, we daily use Google Drive, Facebook groups, Facebook and Google advertising, social media, email, basic video production, Skype/Zoom calls, and similar. We use these systems to draw our students from around Australia into a team who run together to influence Australia for Jesus.
The School is in its second year, so we are still heavily building and establishing processes.
You will be joining the Director personally to assist him to execute on his responsibilities and projects. As the Director oversees many areas of the School, you will also be across different areas.
Overview of the role:
· Liaising with students/school teams/suppliers
· Overseeing/Coordinating several volunteer teams
· Assuming responsibility for delivery of simple projects to build school or enhance student experience
· Handling emails/calls/appointments
· Writing/transcribing/summarising content
· Assisting with organising mission trips/school events
· Updating school website including uploading video content
· Researching
· Other incidental administrative tasks as they arise
Your primary role will be to bring administrative support to an entrepreneurial director who doesn’t keep a regular schedule. Your task will be to help execute on his designs. You’ll support and enable the Director, so he can continue to develop the students and School.
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
· Confident in interacting with people and overseeing small teams
· Strong administrative capability
· Excellent technology skills, including MS Office (in particular MS Powerpoint), cloud-based/online platforms (Mailchimp, Squarespace, Google Drive and similar applications)
· A can-do, anything is possible attitude with an ability to deliver
· Displays a strong work ethic
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Willingness/quick to pick-up new skills (as we are entrepreneurial you will be asked to quickly learn and complete unplanned tasks)
· Doesn’t require much oversight
· 5+ years of experience in the workforce is preferred
(Excellent internet access and phone reception is also necessary)
BSSM training or other supernatural/evangelistic ministry training would be considered an asset, as would any experience in professional services.
The role is currently 9 hours per week and can be done remotely. Some hours can be set, but you must have flexibility to respond if your input is needed outside of set hours. The position is casual and will be paid at between $30 and $35 per hour + superannuation.
